Upscale Gateway provides automated transactional and informational text messages to guests and hosts. These include:
- Account registration alerts and security codes.
- Booking confirmations and check-in instructions.
- Reservation status updates and payment receipts.
2. User Opt-In
Users opt-in by providing their mobile number on our website forms (registration or checkout) and checking a box to agree to receive SMS updates. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity on the platform. You can typically expect 2–5 messages per booking transaction.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Upscale Gateway does not charge you for sending or receiving text messages; however, your mobile carrier may charge you according to your individual rate plan.
5. Supported Carriers
Supported carriers include all major US and Canadian providers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. How to Opt-Out
To stop receiving text messages from Upscale Gateway, reply STOP to any message we send. You will receive one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you re-subscribe.
